4 WaYaShamai (And hearken / hear) Shaawal (Saul) Ath-HaIm (the entirety of summoned the people), WaYaPaqadam (and numbered them) BaTalaayam (in Telaim), Maahathayam (hundred - plural) Alap (thousand) Ragalay (footmen), WaIsharath (and ten) Alapayam (thousand - plural men) Ath-Ayash (entirety man) Yahawadah (Judah).
5 WaYaBawaa (And came) Shaawal (Saul) Id-Iyar (as far as city) Imalaq (Amalek), WaYaRayab (and laid wait) BaNachal (in valley).

10 WaYaHayah (And came to pass) Dabar (word / matter came) Yahawah () Al (to) Shamawaal (Samuel), LaAmar (saying),
11 “NaNachamathay (Turn away / repent) Kay-HaMalakathay (surely grieves [causing] set up) Ath (the entirety of) Shaawal (Saul) LaMalak (to king); Kay-YaShawab (surely he turned back) MaAcharay (from following me), WaAth-Dabaray (and the entirety of my word / matter) Laa (NOT) YaHaQawayam ([causing] performed commandments).” WaYaCharah (and angry) LaShamawaal (Samuel); WaYaZaiq (and he cried) Al (to) Yahawah () Kal (every) HaLayalah (the night).
12 WaYaShakam (And rose early) Shamawaal (Samuel), LaQaraath (to meet) Shaawal (Saul) BaBaqar (in morning) WaYaNagad (and it told) LaShamawaal (Samuel); LaAmar (saying), “YaBawaa (came) Shaawal (Saul) HaKaramal (the Carmel), WaHanah (and behold), MaNatzayab (set up) Law (monument himself), Yad (hand) WaYaSabab (and turned), WaYaIbar (and passed), WaYaYarad (and went down) HaGalagal (the Gilgal).”
13 WaYaBawaa (And came) Shamawaal (Samuel) Al (to) Shaawal (Saul); WaYaAmar (and said), Law (for him) Shaawal (Saul) “Barawak (blessed) Athah (you) Yahawah ().” HaQawayamathay ([causing] performed commandment) Ath-Dabar (the entirety of word / matter) Yahawah ()!

15 WaYaAmar (And said), Shaawal (Saul) “MaImalaqay (from amalekites) HaBawayaawam (they [causing] brought them); AsharaYaChamal (who/that spared) HaIm (the people) Il-Mayatab (over best) HaTzaan (the sheep) WaHaBaqar (and the cattle), LaMainaZabach (𐤋 sacrifice) Yahawah () Alahayam (God). WaAth-HaYawathar (and the entirety of the rest) HaCharamanaw (we [causing] utterly destroyed).”
16 WaYaAmar (And said) Shamawaal (Samuel) Al (to) Shaawal (Saul), “HaRapah ([causing] stay), WaANagayadah (And I tell) Lak (for you) AthaAsharaYaDabar (the entirety of who/that said) Yahawah () Alay (to me) HaLayalah (the night).” WaYaAmaraw (and said) Law (for him) Dabar (speaking), “Dabar (Say on).”
17 WaYaAmar (And said), Shamawaal (Samuel) “HaLawaa (NOT) Am-Qatan (although - rhetorical lesser) Athah (you) BaIyanayak (in your own sight), Raash (head) Shabatay (tribes) Yashar-Al (Israel)? Athah (you) WaYaMashachak (and anointed you) Yahawah () LaMalak (king over) Il (over) Yashar-Al (Israel);

23 KayaChataahath (Surely rebellion sin) Qasam (witchcraft), Maray (𐤌𐤓𐤉) WaAwan (and 𐤀𐤅𐤍) WaTharapayam (and idolatry) HaPatzar ([causing] stubbornness) Yain (teraphim). Maasath (you rejected) Ath-Dabar (the entirety of word / matter) Yahawah (), WaYaMaasak (and he rejected you) MaMalak (from king).”
24 WaYaAmar (And said) Shaawal (Saul) Al (to) Shamawaal (Samuel), “Chataathay (sinned); Kay-Ibarathay (surely pass over/through commandment) Ath-Pahay (the entirety of 𐤐𐤄) Yahawah (), WaAth-Dabarayak (and the entirety of your words), KayaYaraathay (surely fear / be afraid) Ath-HaIm (the entirety of the people), WaAShamai (And I obeyed) BaQawalam (in their voice).
25 WaIthah (And now / present moment) Nashaa (Now therefore lift) Naa (Now) Ath-Chataahathay (the entirety of my sin), WaShawab (and turn), Imay (with me) WaAThaShachawah (And I [reflexive] worship) Yahawah ().”

31 WaYaShawab (And went back) Shamawaal (Samuel) Acharay (after/following) Shaawal (Saul); WaYaThaShachahaw (and [reflexive] worshiped him) Shaawal (Saul) Yahawah ().
32 WaYaAmar (And said), Shamawaal (Samuel) “HaNagayashaw (you [causing] bring here) Alay (to me) Ath (the entirety of) Agag (Agag) Malak (king) Imalaq (Amalekites)!” WaYaYalak (and came) Alayaw (cheerfully him) Agag (Agag).
