3 WaYaKarath (And made) Yahawanathan (Jonathan) WaDawad (and David) Barayath (covenant), BaAhabahathaw (in his loved) Athaw (the entirety of him) KaNapashaw (as his soul).
4 WaYaThaPashat (And [reflexive] stripped) Yahawanathan (Jonathan) Ath-HaMaiyal (the entirety of the robe), AsharaIlayaw (who/that went up him) WaYaNathanaw (and gave him) LaDawad (to David), WaMadayaw (and his clothing), WaId-Charabaw (and as far as his sword), WaId-Qashathaw (and as far as his bow), WaId-Chagawaraw (and sash His loin covering).
5 WaYaYatzaa (And went out) Dawad (David) BaKal (in every) AsharaYaShalachaw (who/that wherever sent him), Shaawal (Saul) YaShakayal (wisely): WaYaShawamaw (and set him) Shaawal (Saul) IlaAyanashay (over over men) HaMalachamah (the war), WaYaYatab (and it good) BaIyanay (in sight) Kal (every) HaIm (the people), WaGam (and indeed / moreover) BaIyanay (in sight) Ibaday (servant) Shaawal (Saul's).
6 WaYaHayah (And came to pass) BaBawaam (in happened came them), BaShawab (in returned) Dawad (David) MaHaNakahawath (from [causing] slaughter - plural) Ath-HaPalashathay (the entirety of the Philistine), WaThaYatzaanah (and came out) HaNaAyashahayam (the women - emphatic) MaKal (from every) Iyaray (cities) Yashar-Al (Israel), LaShayawar (singing) WaHaMachawalahawath (and the dancing - plural), LaQaraath (to meet) Shaawal (Saul), HaMalak (the king) BaThapayam (in tambourines), BaShamachah (with joy), WaBaShalayashayam (and with instruments of music).
7 WaThaInahayanah (And sang) HaNaAyashahayam (the women - emphatic) HaMaShachaqawath (who one to another played - plural), WaThaAmaran (and said them), “YaHaNakah ([causing] slain) Shaawal (Saul) BaAlapaw (in his thousands), WaDawad (And david) BaAlapaw (in his ten thousands) BaRababahathayaw (in his multitude / innumerable).”
8 WaYaCharah (And very angry), LaShaawal (Saul) Maad (exceedingly / very) WaYaRaii (and wicked / dysfunctional / evil) BaIyanayaw (in his eye) HaDabar (this saying) HaZah (the displeased); WaYaAmar (and he said), “Nathanaw (they ascribed) LaDawad (to David) Rababahawath (ten thousands), WaLay (and for me) Nathanaw (they ascribed) HaAlapayam (the thousands). WaIwad (and more/again) Law (for him) Ak (Surely) HaMalawakah (more the kingdom)?”
9 WaYaHayah (And came to pass) Shaawal (Saul) Iwan (guilt/iniquity) Ath (the entirety of) Dawad (David) MaHaYawam (eyed from that day) HaHawaa (which/who/that is) WaHalaah (and forward).
10 WaYaHayah (And came to pass) MaMacharath (from happened next day), WaThaTzalach (and came mightily) Rawach (spirit / wind) Alahayam (God) Raih (evil) Al (to) Shaawal (Saul), WaYaThaNabaa (and he [reflexive] prophesied) BaThawak (in midst) HaBayath (the house). WaDawad (And david) MaNagan (played) BaYadaw (with his hand), KaYawam (as day). BaYawam (in day) WaHaChanayath (and the spear) BaYad (in hand) Shaawal (Saul);
11 WaYaTawal (And dew) Shaawal (Saul) Ath-HaChanayath (the entirety of threw the spear); WaYaAmar (and he said), “ANakah (strike) BaDawad (In david) WaBaQayar (and pin in wall)!” WaYaSabab (and surround / encompass) Dawad (David) MaPanayamaw (escaped from his presence) Paimayam (twice - plural).
12 WaYaYaraa (And afraid because) Shaawal (Saul) MaLaPanayam (from face/presence/surface) Dawad (David), Kay-YaHayah (surely came to pass) Yahawah (), Imaw (with him) WaMaIm (and from) Shaawal (Saul) YaSawar (departed).
13 WaYaSawaraw (And therefore removed him), Shaawal (Saul) MaImaw (with him) WaYaShawamaw (and made him) Law (for him) Shar (prince / ruler) Alap (thousand); WaYaYatzaa (and he went out) WaYaBawaa (and came) LaPanayam (before) HaIm (the people).
14 WaYaHayah (And came to pass) Dawad (David) LaKal (every) Darakaw (his ways) MaShakayal (wisely); Yahawah () Imaw (with him).
15 WaYaRaah (And saw) Shaawal (Saul) Ashar-Hawaa (who/that which/who/that is) MaShakayal (behaved) MaShakayal (himself very wisely), Maad (exceedingly / very) WaYaGawar (and he stood awe) MaPanayamaw (from his face/presence/surface).
16 WaKal (And every) Yashar-Al (Israel) WaYahawadah (and Judah) Ahab (love) Ath (the entirety of) Dawad (David); Kay-Hawaa (surely which/who/that is) Yawatzaa (went out) WaBawaa (and came) LaPanayamam (before them).
17 WaYaAmar (And said) Shaawal (Saul) Al (to) Dawad (David), “Hanah (Behold), Banathay (my daughter) HaGadawalah (the elder) Marab (Merab), Athah (the entirety of her) ANathan (I give) Lak (for you) LaAyashah (to wife) Ak (Surely) Hayah (came to pass) Lay (for me) LaBan (valiant), Chayal (wealth / substance / capability / valor) WaHaLacham (and [causing] fight) Malachamahawath (battles) Yahawah ().” WaShaawal (And saul). YaAmar (said), “Al (not) ThaHayah (came to pass) Yaday (my hand), Baw (within him) WaThaHayah (and came to pass) Baw (within him) Yad (hand) Palashathay (Philistines).”
18 WaYaAmar (And said) Dawad (David) Al (to) Shaawal (Saul), “May (Who) Anakay (I) WaMay (And who) Chayay (my life), Mashapachahath (tribe / clan / family) Yashar-Al (Israel), Abay (my father's) Kay-AHayah (surely came to pass) Chathan (𐤇𐤕𐤍) LaMalak (son-in-law to king)?”
19 WaYaHayah (And came to pass) BaIth (at time) Nathanath (gave) Ath (the entirety of) Marab (Merab), Banath (daughter), Shaawal (Saul's) LaDawad (to David), WaHawayaa (and which/who/that is) NaNathanah (she given) Idaray-Al (Adriel) HaMachalathay (the 𐤌𐤇𐤋𐤕𐤉) LaAyashah (Meholathite wife).
20 WaThaAhab (And loved) Mayakal (Michal), Banath (daughter), Shaawal (Saul), Ath (the entirety of) Dawad (David) WaYaNagadaw (and told) LaShaawal (Saul's); WaYaYashar (and thing pleased) HaDabar (the word / matter) BaIyanayaw (in his eye).
21 WaYaAmar (And said), Shaawal (Saul) ANathanah (I give her), Law (for him) WaThaHayah (and came to pass) Law (for him) LaMawaqash (snare), WaThaHayah (and came to pass) Baw (within him) Yad (hand against) Palashathay (Philistines). WaYaAmar (And therefore said) Shaawal (Saul) Al (to) Dawad (David), “BaShanathayam (son-in-law in second time) ThaThaChathan (𐤇𐤕𐤍) Bay (within him me) HaYawam (this day).”
22 WaYaTzawah (And commanded) Shaawal (Saul) Ath-Ibadaw (the entirety of his servants), “Dabaraw (you talk) Al (to) Dawad (David) BaLat (in secretly), LaAmar (say), ‘Hanah (Behold), YaChapatz (delight), Bak (within him you) HaMalak (the king) WaKal (and every) Ibadayaw (his servants) Ahabawak (love you): WaIthah (and now / present moment) HathaChathan (𐤇𐤕𐤍) BaMalak (in king's son-in-law).’”
23 WaYaDabaraw (And spoke) Ibaday (servant) Shaawal (Saul's) BaAzanay (in ears) Dawad (David) Ath-HaDabarayam (the entirety of the words). HaAlah (these) WaYaAmar (and said), Dawad (David) “HaNaQalalah (seems light) BaIyanayakam (in your eye) HathaChathan (𐤇𐤕𐤍) BaMalak (in king's) WaAnakay (and son-in-law), Ayash (man), Rawash (since poor) WaNaQalah (and lightly esteemed)?”
24 WaYaNagadaw (And told), Ibaday (servant) Shaawal (Saul) Law (for him) LaAmar (saying), “KaDabarayam (as word / matter - plural) HaAlah (these) YaDabar (Speaking) Dawad (David) WaYaNagadaw (and spoke like).”
25 WaYaAmar (And said), Shaawal (Saul) “Kah (𐤊𐤄) ThaAmaraw (you tell) LaDawad (David), Ayan (NO ONE) Chapatz (delight) ‘LaMalak (king) BaMahar (in dowry) KayaBaMaah (surely in hundred) Iralahawath (foreskins) Palashathay (Philistines), LaHaNaqam (to [causing] avenged) BaAyabay (in enemies) HaMalak (the king's).’” WaShaawal (And saul) YaChashab (Now thought) LaHaNapayal (make [causing] fall) Ath (the entirety of) Dawad (David) BaYad (by hand) Palashathay (Philistines).
26 WaYaNagadaw (And told) Ibadayaw (his servants) LaDawad (David) Ath-HaDabarayam (the entirety of these words), HaAlah (these) WaYaYashar (and upright) HaDabar (the pleased) BaIyanay (in eye) Dawad (David) LaHathaChathan (𐤇𐤕𐤍) BaMalak (in king's) WaLaa (and son-in-law). Malaaw (expired) HaYawamayam (the days);
