The Word Made Flesh

The prologue of John

John 1:1–18

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God — and the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us.

John 1:1–18

1 In the raashayath (beginning) was the Dabar (Word), and the Dabar (Word) was with Alahayam (), and the Dabar (Word) was Alahayam ().

2 The same was in the raashayath (beginning) with Alahayam ().

3 All things were made through him. Without him, nothing was made that has been made.

4 In him was chay (life), and the chay (life) was the awar (light) of adam (men).

5 The awar (light) awar (light) in the chashak (darkness), and the chashak (darkness) hasn’t overcome it.

6 There came an ayash (man), shalach (sent) from Alahayam (), whose sham (name) was Yawachanan ().

7 The same bawaa (bring) as an idawath (witness), that he might iwad (testify) about the awar (light), that all might aman (believe / have faith) through him.

8 He was not the awar (light), but was bawaa (bring) that he might iwad (testify) about the awar (light).

9 The amath (truth) awar (light) that enlightens everyone was hayah (came to pass) into the thabal (world).

10 He was in the thabal (world), and the thabal (world) was made through him, and the thabal (world) didn’t recognize him.

11 He bawaa (bring) to his own, and those ashar (who/that) were his own didn’t qabalawan (receive) him.

12 But as rababah (many) as qabalawan (received) him, to them he dabar (word / matter) the amath (truth) to hayah (came to pass) Alahayam’s ban (son), to those who aman (believe / have faith) in his sham (name):

13 who were yalad (born) not of dam (blood), nor of the will of the bashar (flesh), nor of the will of gabar (man), but of Alahayam ().

14 The Dabar (word / matter) yalad (birth / begot) bashar (flesh), and chayay (lived) among us. We mashawar (saw) his thapaarah (glory), such kabawad (glory) as of the achad (one) and only Yachayad (Son) of the Ab (father), shalam (full) of chan (favor) and amath (truth).

15 Yawachanan () iwad (testified) about him. He qaraa (cried) out, amar (saying), “This was he of whom I amar (said), ‘He ashar (who) bawaa (comes) after me has surpassed me, for he was before me.’ ”

16 From his fullness we all laqach (received) chasad (grace) upon chasad (grace).

17 For the thawarah (law) was nathan (given) through Mashah (). Chan (Grace) and amath (truth) were realized through Yashawai () Mashayach ().

18 No achad (one) has raah (seen) Alahayam () at any time. The achad (one) and only Yachayad (Son), who is in the chayaq (bosom) of the Ab (Father), has nagad (declared) him.
