The Song of Mashah

Deuteronomy 32

Deuteronomy 32:1–43

Mashah's last song, taught to all Yashar-Al as a witness: the Rock who begot them, the jealousy of a people gone after no-gods, and the vengeance and atonement of Yahawah for his land.

Deuteronomy 32:1–43

Azan (ear) ear, you shamayam (Shamayam / Heavens), and I will dabar (word / matter). Let the aratz (Earth/land) shamai (hearken / hear) the amaray (Amaray / Amorite) of my pah (mouth).

My laqach (doctrine) shall irap (drop) as the matar (rain). My amarah (sayings) shall condense as the tal (dew), as the shaiyar (small) rain on the tender ishab (grass), as the rabayabayam (showers) on the ishab (herb).

For I will qaraa (called) the sham (name) of Yahawah (). Yahab (ascribe) gadal (greatness) to our Alahayam ()!

The tzawar (rock), his pail (work) is thamayam (complete / whole), for all his darak (ways) are mashapat (justice): a Al of amawanah (faithfulness) and without iwal (iniquity), tzadayaq (righteous) and yashar (upright) is he.

They have dealt corruptly with him. They are not his ban (son), because of their defect. They are a iqash (perverse) and pathalathal (crooked) dawar (generation / age / period).

Gamal (do) you thus requite Yahawah (), foolish im (nation / people) and unwise? Isn't he your ab (father) who has bought you? He ishah (make) made you, and kawan (established) you.

Zakar (remember) the yamawath (days) of iwalam (eternity). Bayan (between) the shanawath (years) of many dawar (generation / age / period). Shaal (ask) your ab (father), and he will show you; your zaqan (elders), and they will amar (said) you.

When the Most ilayawan (Most High) nachal (gave) to the gawayam (heathen) their nachal (inheritance), when he parad (separated) the banay (my son) of adam (men), he natzab (set) the gabalath (bounds) of the imayam (peoples) according to the masapar (number) of the banay (my son) of Yashar-Al (Israel).

For Yahawah () chalaq (portion) is his im (nation / people). Yaiqab (Jacob) is the chabal (lot) of his nachalah (inheritance).

He matzaa (found) him in a madabar (desert) aratz (Earth/land), in the thahaw (formless) yalal (howling) yashayamawan (wilderness). He surrounded him. He cared for him. He natzar (kept) him as the ayashawan (apple) of his iyan (eye).

As an nashar (eagle) that iwar (rouse / awaken) up her qan (nest), that rachap (hover) over her gawazal (young), he parash (spread) abroad his abarah (wings), he laqach (take / seize) them, he nashaa (lift) them on his abarah (feathers).

Yahawah () badad (alone) nachah (led) him. There was no foreign Al with him.

He rakab (made) him ride on the bamah (high) places of the aratz (Earth/land). He akal (eat) the thanawabah (increase) of the shadah (field). He caused him to yanaq (suck) dabash (honey) out of the salai (rock), shaman (oil) out of the chalamayash (flinty) tzawar (rock);

Chamaah (butter) of the baqar (morning), and chalab (milk) of the tzaan (flock), with chalab (fat) of karayam (lambs), ayalayam (rams) of the ban (son) of Bashan (Bashan), and ithawadayam (goats), with the finest of the chatah (wheat). Of the dam (blood) of the inab (grape) you shathah (drinks) wine.

But Yasharawan (Jeshurun) grew shaman (fat), and bait (kicked). You have grown shaman (fat). You have grown ibah (thick). You have become sleek. Then he forsook Alawah () who ishah (make) him, and nabal (lightly) esteemed the tzawar (rock) of his yashawaih (salvation).

They qanaa (jealous) him to jealousy with zawar (strange) Alahayam (). They provoked him to anger with thawaibath (abominations).

They zabach (sacrificed) to demons, not Alawah (), to Alahayam () that they didn't yadai (know), to chadash (new) Alahayam () that came up recently, which your ab (father) didn't dread.

Of the tzawar (rock) who became your yalad (birth / begot), you are shayah (unmindful), and have shakach (forgotten) Al who gave you birth.

Yahawah () raah (see) and naatz (abhorred), because of the kais (provocation) of his ban (son) and his banath (daughter).

He amar (said), “I will sathar (hide) my panayam (face) from them. I will raah (see / saw) what their acharayath (end) shall be; for they are a very thahapakah (perverse) dawar (generation / age / period), banayam (children) in whom is no amawan (faithfulness).

They have qanaa (jealous) me to jealousy with that which is not Al. They have provoked me to kais (anger) with their habal (vanities). I will qanaa (jealous) them to jealousy with those who are not a im (nation / people). I will provoke them to kais (anger) with a foolish gaway (heathen / nation).

For a ash (fire) is qadach (kindled) in my ap (nostril / picture: bull snorting), yaqad (burns) to the lowest shaawal (Sheol / afterlife), akal (eat) the aratz (Earth/land) with its yabawal (increase), and sets the mawasaday (foundations) of the harayam (mountains) on lahat (fire).

“I will sapah (heap) raiwath (evils) on them. I will kalah (complete / finish) my chatz (arrows) on them.

They shall be wasted with raib (hunger), and lacham (devoured) with rashap (burning) heat and marayaray (bitter) qatab (destruction). I will shalach (send) the shan (teeth) of animals on them, With the chamah (poison) of crawling things of the ipar (dust).

Outside the charab (sword) shall shakal (bereave), and in the rooms, ayamah (terror); on both bachawar (young) man and bathawalah (virgin), The yanaq (nursing) infant with the gray-haired ayash (man / husband).

I amar (said), I would paah (scatter) them afar. I would make their zakar (remember) to shabath (shabath / rest) from among anawash (men);

Were it not that I gawar (feared) the kais (provocation) of the ayab (enemy), lest their tzar (oppressor / distressor) should nakar (judge) wrongly, lest they should amar (spoke), ‘Our yad (hand) is rawam (will lift up), Yahawah () has not pail (done) all this.’”

For they are a gaway (heathen / nation) abad (destroy / perish) of itzah (counsel). There is no thabawan (understanding) in them.

Oh that they were chakam (wise), that they shakal (understood) this, that they would bayan (between) their acharayath (latter) end!

How could achad (one) radap (chase) a alap (thousand), and shanayam (two) put rababah (ten) alap (thousand) to nawas (flight), unless their tzawar (rock) had makar (sold) them, and Yahawah () had sagar (delivered) them up?

For their tzawar (rock) is not as our tzawar (rock), even our ayab (enemy) themselves being palayalayam (judges).

For their gapan (vine) is of the gapan (vine) of Sadam (Sodom), of the shadamath (fields) of Imarah (Gomorrah). Their inabay (grapes) are inabay (grapes) of raash (head), Their ashakalath (clusters) are mararah (bitter).

Their yayan (wine) is the chamah (poison) of thanayanam (serpents), The akazar (cruel) raash (head) of asps.

“Isn't this kamas (laid) up in store with me, chatham (sealed) up among my awatzar (treasures)?

Naqam (vengeance) is mine, and shalam (recompense), at the ith (time) when their ragal (feet / foot) mawat (slides); for the yawam (day) of their ayad (calamity) is at qarawab (hand). The things that are to ithayad (come) on them shall make chawash (haste).”

For Yahawah () will dayan (judge) his im (nation / people), and have compassion on his ibad (servant), when he raah (see) that their yad (hand) is azal (gone), There is apas (none) remaining, itzar (shut) up or izab (left) at large.

He will amar (spoke), “Where are their Alahayam (), The tzawar (rock) in which they took chasah (refuge);

Which akal (eat) the chalab (fat) of their zabach (sacrifices), And shathah (drinks) the yayan (wine) of their drink nasayak (offering)? Let them qawam (rise up) up and izar (help) you! Let them be your sathar (secret / hidden).

“Raah (see) now that I, even I, am he, There is no Alahayam () with me. I mawath (death), and I chayah (make) alive. I machatz (crush / shatter), and I rapaa (heal). There is no one who can natzal (deliver) out of my yad (hand).

For I nashaa (lift) up my yad (hand) to shamayam (Shamayam / Heavens), And amar (said), As I chay (life) iwalam (eternity),

If I shanan (whet) my baraq (glittering) charab (sword), My yad (hand) achaz (take) hold on mashapat (judgment); I will shawab (turn) naqam (vengeance) to my tzar (oppressor / distressor), and will shalam (recompense) those who shanaa (hate) me.

I will make my chatz (arrows) shakar (drunk) with dam (blood). My charab (sword) shall akal (eat) bashar (flesh) with the dam (blood) of the chalal (slain) and the shabayah (captives), from the raash (head) of the leaders of the ayab (enemy).”

Ranan (rejoice), you gawayam (heathen), with his im (nation / people), for he will naqam (avenge) the dam (blood) of his ibad (servant). He will shawab (turn) naqam (vengeance) to his tzar (oppressor / distressor), And will kapar (make) expiation for his adamah (land), for his im (nation / people).
