The Song of the Sea
Exodus 15:1–21
On the far shore of the sea: Yahawah is a man of war, horse and rider thrown into the sea, and Marayam answers with timbrel and dance.

9 The ayab (enemy) amar (said), ‘I will radap (pursue). I will nashag (overtake). I will chalaq (divide) the shalal (spoil). My napash (soul) shall be malaa (satisfied) on them. I will rawaq (draw) my charab (sword), my yad (hand) shall yarash (destroy) them.’
10 You nashap (blew) with your rawach (spirit / wind). The yam (sea/waters) kasah (covered) them. They tzalal (sank) like iwaparath (lead) in the adayar (mighty) mayam (Waters).
11 Who is like you, Yahawah (), among the Al? Who is like you, adar (glorious) in qadash (set apart / make holy), fearful in thahalath (praises), ishah (make) palaa (wonders)?
12 You natah (stretched) out your right yamayan (right hand). The aratz (Earth/land) balai (swallowed) them.
13 “You, in your loving chasad (grace), have nachah (led) the im (nation / people) that you have gaal (redeemed). You have nahal (guided) them in your iz (strength / might / refuge) to your qadash (set apart / make holy) nawah (habitation).
14 The imayam (peoples) have shamai (hearken / hear). They ragaz (tremble). Chayal (pangs) achaz (have) taken hold on the yashabay (inhabitants) of Palashath (Philistia).
15 Then the chiefs of Adawam (Edom) were bahal (dismayed). Raid (trembling) achaz (takes) hold of the ayal (mighty) men of Mawaab (Moab). All the yashabay (inhabitants) of Kanain (Canaan) are mawag (melted) away.
16 Ayamah (terror) and pachad (fear / dread) napal (fall / be cast down) on them. By the greatness of your zarawai (arm) they are as still as a aban (stone)— until your im (nation / people) ibar (pass over/through) over, Yahawah (), until the im (nation / people) ibar (pass over/through) over who you have qanah (purchased).
17 You shall bawaa (come) them in, and natai (plant) them in the har (mountain) of your nachalah (inheritance), the makawan (place), Yahawah (), which you have pail (made) for yourself to yashab (inhabit/dwell) in; the maqadash (sanctuary), Adanay (), which your yad (hand) have kawan (established).
18 Yahawah () shall malak (king) id (until / as far as) and iwalam (forever).”
19 For the sawas (horses) of Paraih (Pharaoh) bawaa (come) in with his rakab (chariots) and with his horsemen into the yam (sea/waters), and Yahawah () shawab (turn back / repent) back the may (waters) of the yam (sea/waters) on them; but the banay (children) of Yashar-Al (Israel) halak (move) on yabashah (dry land) land in the thawak (midst) of the yam (sea/waters).
20 Marayam (Miriam) the nabayaah (prophetess), the achawath (sister) of Aharawan (Aaron), laqach (take / seize) a tambourine in her yad (hand); and all the nashayam (women) yatzaa (go out / come out) out achar (other) her with tambourines and with machalath (dances).
21 Marayam (Miriam) inah (answer / respond) them, “shayar (sing) to Yahawah (), for he has gaah (triumphed) gaah (gloriously). The sawas (horse) and his rider he has ramah (thrown) into the yam (sea/waters).”
